AT THE MOMENT WE ARE STILL HAVING TECHNICAL PROBLEMS AND MUCH OF THE SITE CONTENT IS MISSING.  WE SHOULD LIKE TO APOLOGISE AND HOPE THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE WORKING AS IT SHOULD IN A FEW DAYS. 

We are glad that you found your way here, hope that you enjoy your stay and return often to check on what is new.

The purpose of this website is manifold.

We hope that, over time, it will become a repository for hermetic knowledge and research.  It is designed to be a place where people of good will from all orders, groups, places and backgrounds can communicate to freely share what they have discovered in the course of their exploration for the greater good of all and the expansion of our intellectual and spiritual horizons.

Contributions of papers or ideas are very welcome – please send any papers that you would like to see published here to submissions@hermeticvirtues.org and we shall be glad to consider them.  They can be regarding any aspect of hermeticism and, if you should not be a native English speaker, we shall also be glad to assist you with editing them when publishing has been agreed.  Of course we also welcome any contributions of suitable artwork too.  Please send these in an appropriate format to the same address.

Another function of this website is to act as the home of a new magazine that has just been launched.  Here you can subscribe to it and obtain back copies.  You will find further details of this new project under “HV Magazine” on this site.

As a further service to the community it is planned to offer a range, which will also be built up over time, of books, eBooks, CDs, DVDs and prints regarding suitable topics.   As this is not a commercial undertaking, the proceeds from the sale of these items all go entirely to a non-profit organisation to support important work in the greater hermetic community.  The reason for creating this website is, in accordance with our age-old tradition, to further knowledge, not for material gain.

Finally, as we all live in the real world, we hope that this will be a place where you can find details of events and news of what is happening and being planned in the community at the moment and in the near future.  If you are arranging an event, such as a conference or workshop, please let us know and provide a contact address so that we can put up some information on it to enable anybody who is interested to find out more.  Such information should please be sent to info@hermeticvirtues.org , as well as any general enquiries that you may have.
